PostHog is great for people who want to understand what users are actually doing in their product without stitching together five different tools. It makes a lot of sense for founders, product people, and developers who want product analytics, event tracking, recordings, experiments, and more in one place.
What I like about it
I like that it covers a lot without feeling too limited. You can start with simple analytics and then go deeper into funnels, recordings, feature flags, and experiments without needing to switch platforms. It also feels especially good for product teams that want one system instead of a messy stack of separate tools.
Where it could improve
Mostly around simplicity. Because it does so much, it can feel a bit overwhelming at first, and some parts take a bit of clicking around before they really make sense. It is powerful, but not always the most instantly clear tool when you are new to it.
